Brew Guide
Chemex
The iconic Chemex Coffeemaker, invented in 1941, has made a recent comeback as top cafes recognize the superiority of this simple brewing method. Made from non porous borosilicate glass and fastened with a wood collar, its elegant hourglass design has remained unchanged for 75 years. This one-piece vessel creates a crisp, clean brew, highlighting the sweetness and nuance of our best coffees, without sediment. It's also great for brewing iced coffee!
With its timeless design, the Chemex is featured in New York's Corning Museum of Glass and was named one of the 100 best designed products by the Illinois Institute of Technology—a true work of art blending design and function!
