Community in a Cup: Our Partnership with City Beach Organics

Some places you go for a quick bite. Others leave a lasting impression.

At Evans Brothers Coffee, we are always drawn to the spaces that care deeply about how people feel when they walk through the door. The ones that lead with intention, hospitality, and a genuine sense of connection.

City Beach Organics is one of those places. Rooted in care and purpose, it is a space where nourishing food and thoughtful service come together to create something that feels both welcoming and personal.

Who City Beach Organics is

City Beach Organics was created from something deeply personal. It started with a desire to offer a healthier option, especially for the people closest to them.

“We started CBO to provide a healthy option to our guests,” shares Will Edmondson, manager of City Beach Organics. “Many of our family members and friends deal with food allergies, and we wanted to create a space that would feed both the soul and the body.”

That care is felt the moment you walk through the door. As a family-run business, there is a strong sense of intention behind everything they do, from the food to the way they show up for their guests.

“We hope all who come in to dine will leave with more than just satisfied bellies. Love and compassion are just as important to us as feeding mouths. Guests should feel like an extension of our family,” Will shares.

City Beach Organics is more than just a cafe. With a menu that spans from specialty coffee to fresh food and juice, they have created a space that meets people where they are, whether they are stopping in for something quick or settling in for a longer visit.

At the end of the day, what matters most is how people feel. “Our goal is to have the best customer service in Sandpoint. We’re family run and we never compromise on quality. Being a specialty cafe and a restaurant and juice smoothie bar also means we have something for everybody.”

Why we love working with City Beach Organics

Working with City Beach Organics feels simple in the best way. There is a shared focus on quality, care, and creating something people can rely on every day.

Their connection with Evans Brothers goes back years: “It began when we visited Sandpoint for the first time over 10 years ago. We enjoyed the quality of the coffee and it just made sense to partner with the best around,” Will says.

That appreciation for quality shows up in how they approach coffee in their own space. It’s not about rushing drinks out the door, but about getting it right.

“For us, we’re not trying to just pump out as many drinks as quickly as possible,” encourages Will. “We want every cup to be consistent and delicious. We value the service we receive and the relationships built.”

The coffee moment at City Beach Organics

At City Beach Organics, coffee is part of the daily rhythm, especially during the busy morning rush.

When it comes to favorites, Will keeps it classic with a little room for indulgence. “Cortado or an iced latte! We also run a brown butter latte special over the winter months which has the perfect richness.”

Mornings can get fast-paced, and coffee becomes both fuel and a small moment of energy in the middle of it all. “We love chugging extra shots during our coffee rushes.”

It is simple, a little playful, and very real. Coffee here is not just part of the menu, it is part of how the team shows up each day.

Rooted in community

Community is something City Beach Organics values deeply, especially when it comes to supporting the people and businesses around them.

“Being able to have relationships with those we’re supporting matters,” Will shares. “The care and quality that is put into a local product is always superior. Our dollars also stay within our community that way.”

That belief shows up not just in what they serve, but in how they choose to be part of Sandpoint. It is about connection, trust, and investing in the place they call home.

At the same time, their role in the community is simple and meaningful. They want to be a place people can count on. “We hope we can be a safe, comfortable place in the community. Additionally, helping people eat well and feel well.”
